Binary package hint: xwpe
Ubuntu 6.10: xwpe-1.5.29a-3_AMD64 works properly - on launch from the
gnome terminal window the windows programming environment comes up in a
separate window and xwpe starts inside it. The mouse can be used to
carry out all operations with the programme. The latest version,
xwpe-1.5.29a-5_AMD64 fails. It launches inside the terminal window, the
mouse cannot be used to do anything, and the keyboard launches menus in
the terminal window, not in the xwpe window. In addition some components
are missing from the Options menu - in particular the Compile option.
