I have been having the same issue. X3100, T61 Thinkpad 8.04, KDE 3.5 2.6.24-21-generic xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.2.1-1ubuntu13.8

If there is a fix in Intrepid and Jaunty, then the updates should be added to Hardy repos. (LTS) A few weeks ago I tried compiling the latest from Intel but X would not start. Can I get the newest Intel Drivers from Jaunty and install them in hardy? Can I add the Intrepid and Jaunty repos just to get the xserver stuff and then remove the extra repos? ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log.old" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22471535/Xorg.0.log.old -- [i965] intel gm965 freezes with 3d applications https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120834 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
