"OK" is the standard term for the "OK, I've read that" button in error alerts in Gnome (as well as in Windows and Mac OS). <http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/windows-alert.html#alerts-error>
It's not a wonderful term, and over the past few years I've occasionally wondered about changing it to something else, but the best alternative I can think of is "Apology Accepted", which is a bit dodgy. :-) And if we did change it, we should change it in Gnome in general, not just apport in particular. So for now I think this should be left as it is. -- Firefox crash dialog gives confusing dialog https://launchpad.net/bugs/69954 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
