After that thunderbird, firefox stop responding and they have to be force quitted. Their processes (thunderbird.bin and firefox) can't be killed with kill -9 or killall. This happens at least once a day on fully updated (as of 30.09.2008) Intrebid Ibex on x86_64. uname -a: Linux ubuntu 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:29:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux Attached kern.log with relevant bits of two separate occasions.
