Running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2. Have been having the same problem. Agree that the culprit is AVG Safe Search. Disabling all other add-ons had no impact. Disabling AVG did the trick.
