i386 Jaunty alpha 4 (2.6.28-6-generic kernel) Even with the latest update to my apt-cache and medibuntu jaunty repo, I can confirm this exists for smplayer, vlc.
apt-get install smplayer depends on mplayer-nogui or mplayer mplayer: Depends: libx264-59 (>= 1:0.svn20080408) but it is not installable If I knew where and how to fix and submit, I would do so.
