@Yann: I'm still using your package taken from revu. It builds fine using m-a, no kernel sources needed. The one which was recently backported (0.8.0-9) I'm unable to build. I've lost my patience...
The only annoying thing about your package is that I had to mark it "on hold", otherwise autoupdate wanted to update it :), but it's simple enough to fix. Lirc is really an unfortunate package in Dapper.
