I've filed this Bug out of the LP answer #59032. The solution posted there seems not to resolve the problem for me and others. As already stated in the answer thread, the same message occurs on my system if I try to start after a kernel update. Unlike micheal.frog I didn't recognise a strange behaviour during the update process.
