My temporary fix with intrepid and kde 4.2 from kubuntu-experimental ppa
packages:

The powerbtn.sh in /etc/acpi is now:

#!/bin/sh

test -f /usr/share/acpi-support/key-constants || exit 0

. /usr/share/acpi-support/key-constants
acpi_fakekey $KEY_POWER

Then I configured in System Setting \ Power Manager -> All profiles "When Power
Button pressed -> Log out dialog" (in events). I use a laptops.
Now it's working fine.

The problem, that this is not a good solution, acpi-support (and
acpi_fakekey) seems deprecated.
