Glad to hear you managed to compile it.
First and foremost, I need to confirm: what model are you using? This driver is 
for the Fujitsu P-series touchscreen, and the models known to use it are: 
Fujitsu Lifebook P1510, P1510D, P1610, Fujitsu FMV-BIBLO LOOX P70R until P70U/V 
(I guess), and LG C1 Dual Express.
If your model is indeed among the ones listed above, I suggest you try the 
setserial method, as shown in conan.de page or the japanese blog:

sudo apt-get install setserial
setserial /dev/ttyS0 port 0x0220 irq 4 autoconfig

Starting from P1620, and also later Japanese models, the touchscreen is 
USB-based, according to the following post:

If you have such model, you may have to use evtouch driver instead.
