Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-5-generic

In 8.04 and 8.10 I never had this problem, but with 9.04 I experience
rapid battery drain while in suspend. An approximate description would
be that in in one day, both of my batteries will be drained by about 50%
of their maximum capacity.

My x300 is equipped with two batteries, and under normal operation the
second battery will drain completely before the main battery is used,
but with this suspend problem, both batteries get drained equally.

There are no error messages about failing to suspend properly (I used to
get these messages with 8.04 and 8.10.)

I haven't tried using a different flavor of the kernel, I am just using
generic which was the default.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
