This generally looks good, aside from my usual reservations about using it by default on a desktop due to not handling conffiles and debconf. But that already has been discussed at UDS, and the Kubuntu team decided to go with PK, so I'm okay with that.
One particular issue is that it needs full commitment to be maintained by someone. Will that be the Kubuntu team? Sebastian Heinlein? Also, the D-Bus policy is currently insecure [1], as well as incomplete (introspection not allowed), and needs an update according to [2]. Also, an update to the latest version should be considered, since it evolves quickly, and we need all the stability we can get. That's not a prerequisite for this MIR, though. [1] <!-- !!
