Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Package: Evolution 2.24.3 Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 Linux kernel 2.6.27-11-generic GNOME 2.24.1 This bug is intermittent. Scenario: I have a huge task list in Evolution. And this behavior happens also when in Calendar view with task list on the right, and in Task list view. It happens even if tasks are grouped or not, sorted or not. The issue: I keep the first task at the top, and the last one is out of sight, for the list is big. Then, lets say, I open the calculator app (gcalctool), and the task list scroll goes to the botton of the list automatically, with gcalctool in focus and Evolution in background. Then I have to put the task list scroll to the top mannually. But other day this happened when I opened Firefox. And once happened when I changed to Email view and back again to calendar view with task list on the right. And I always have to put the task list scroll to the top mannually. That is, it is intermittent and I did not get the sequence of actions that triggers this odd behavior. Every time it happens, I notice that the last task is highlighted (the one at the botton of the list), as it was single-clicked. I tried to put things the way I want (first task at the top, scroll bar at top, first task single-clicked), and I noticed that after a few seconds, Evolution "unmarked" the first task (it's was not highlighted any more). I expect that the task list must stay as I left it: as I move to calendar view or task view, the first task must be at the top, scroll bar "freezed", and if I want to, I scroll to the portion I'd like to see. Hope I could be clear, sorry about my english. Thanks in advance for any help. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- evolution task list automatic scrolls down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/322892 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
