Can't be sure it not a local one (hard drive?), I just find it highly
suspicious, especially how everything happened and the prior error
messages.

Attached is my xsession-error file as of today (didn't use that computer
since I realized data lost)...

It look suspicious to me, also I now seem to have lost the entire
.evolution folder (including localhost).

Don't forgot that I also lost a pop server configuration, and about 25
"subfolders" for mail storage (which are stored as files)

Finally the exchange account is a pain in the *** to configure, and it
had been in the past. Not sure how I got it to work many years ago, but
I had been unable to reproduce it on my laptop (even after copying all
the settings). To be honest, I rather not screw around until my data is
recovered. And it's the only account I got to connect with (it works
fine in Outlook)
