Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make
Ubuntu better. Thunderbird 3 is not yet provided by the official Ubuntu
repositories, so we are unable to fix bugs with Thunderbird 3. However,
this bug exists in Thunderbird 2.0.0.19, which is provided by official
Ubuntu repositories, and I have confirmed that the same bug exists
there.
