Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp
In Yelp's table of contents page, as well as the description of the program via it's GNOME launcher, Ubuntu is referenced specifically (usually in the form of "Get help with Ubuntu"). There is no reason to specifically reference Ubuntu at all in yelp itself -- yelp should be a distro-neutral help display system. Instead references to the specific distribution should go in the actual help docs themselves (in Ubuntu's case, the ubuntu-docs package). Removing these specific references would allow derivative distros to use yelp without having to first modify it to remove the trademarks. ** Affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Yelp contains references to Ubuntu when it could be distro-neutral https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/322181 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
