Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution-exchange
i have spent 6 hours trying to persuade evolution to read steve gibsons newsgroups news.grc.com. evolution insists on my pgp pass phrase which it cannot recognize. i am now using thunderbird which works great. now i have trouble uninstalling evolution and may have corrupted my new beautiful ubuntu 8.10 why do you not supply thunderbird as standard instead of evolution as you do supply firefox. i know that your time is free and so i thank you for your efforts but evolution is now so big and full of bugs why do you not just abandon it? best wishes john ProblemType: Package Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ErrorMessage: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should Package: evolution-exchange 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 SourcePackage: evolution-exchange Title: package evolution-exchange 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should Uname: Linux 2.6.27-9-generic i686 ** Affects: evolution-exchange (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package -- package evolution-exchange 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
