After some digging it seems that there have been a couple of clusters of
Eeek! panics. Those since 2.6.21 seem to have always appeared on
systems with Nvidia graphics. Looking through the numerous panics
reported here (with full stacks) I see that at least one of you is using
a proprietory driver, perhaps Nvidia.
So could those of you who are hitting this issue indicate whether you
have Nvidia or other proprietory drivers installed. If so could you
report the output of the 'dkms status' command. Also if you are able
could you try running with the OSS 'nv' X driver for a while to see if
that eliminates the issue.
