Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gcalctool
gcalctool is nice application and I like possibility to see all summands (example "12+123+12312+3423+23545+97" ) on the sreen before pressing "=" - It is very useful functionality - as you can check twice before pressing "=". But It will be nice to have ability to WordWrap sentence to few lines instead of making horizontal scrolling - because scrolling hide half of sentence, and annoy. Special option for this in menu "View" will be good compromise. Sentence: "12+123+12312+3423+23545+97" Expected if I have short calculator window width: "12+123 +12312+3423 +23545+97" ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gcalctool NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gcalctool 5.24.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gcalctool Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic i686 ** Affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- [usability] Make "WordWrap" option for long calculations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321074 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
