I cannot test it at the moment, because my sound card does not work. What I will do is upgrade to 6.06 LTS by installing it newly from CD in order to have a clean system for production use (after the dist-upgrade some things didn't work afterwards so I have to install it from scratch again). I will get back to you once I've done it (should happen around ny eve).
