Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After the latest changes in Jaunty this afternoon my Thinkpad T60 does not work with DRI or intel driver. (Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)) The symptoms: I get colorful garbage then everthing get's corrupt! Even alt+f1 = Corrupt text screen. Can login and the reboot. Going to safe mode and adding Driver = "vesa" get me to a safe mode (like i am using now) I tried to revert the Intel Driver to the previous but the same affect. I also tried reconfigure.... and a couple of other tricks .... please let me know what I canprovide to help trace this problem.
