I was trying to install ubuntu using The Official ubuntu Book and DVD provided.
The Installer crashed message ask for files /var/log/installer/syslog,
/var/log/syslog
anf /var/log/partman to be attached. Having a Windows system I can't find
these file and will be happy to send them if you can instruct me how with out
linux system.
Information about my system:
My system was intalled with Windows XP Pro and the disk, 160 gigs, formated
with three parittions. Two that were unused waiting to install Linux when I
was ready.
I suspect this is the problem. Any help will be appreciated as I really would
like to have it running and move to something other than Windows.
