Also the indentation change of Build-Depends is a similar packaging refactoring that will eventual future merges unnecessary hard. Adding Homepage: entry in ubuntu is similarly not the way to go until its sorted that debian will accept something like this. Same for dropping maintainer scripts that do nothing. In short: could you come up with a patch that fixes this bug in a minimal fashion?
