As a workaround, you can use the eclipse update manager (it requires
eclipse to be run as root for installation).

For information, pydev v1.4.x brings the support of python 2.6 and
python 3.0 (py3k) which are major features :)

I haven't seen any error using the workaround described above, for now
at least.
