Binary package hint: spamassassin
Since the most recent update, the spamassassin init script is unable to stop a
running spamd process:
$ ps ax|grep spam
12058 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/spamd --create-prefs --max-children 3
--helper-home-dir -d --pidfile=/var/run/spamd.pid
12109 ? S 0:00 spamd child
12110 ? S 0:00 spamd child
$ sudo /etc/init.d/spamassassin stop
Stopping SpamAssassin Mail Filter Daemon: spamd.
$ ps ax|grep spam
21829 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/spamd --create-prefs --max-children 3
--helper-home-dir -d --pidfile=/var/run/spamd.pid
21836 ? S 0:00 spamd child
21837 ? S 0:00 spamd child
This causes the upgrade to fail.
