Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: synaptic

Synaptic search work incorrectly: for example if quick search field empty I can
find package compizconfig-setting-manager.
if in this field i type compiz it will not find this package and find only
limited amount packages which have compiz in name or description. Same things
for search.

I was able to install this package by apt-get install compizconfig-
setting-manager.

More interesting on another computer with same hardware, same version of
linux installed in same day it work properly. I tried to copy files
/root/.synaptic from good machine to second but it didn't help.

I am using Ubuntu Jaunty 64 bit Alpha 3.
