Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

As documented in bug 311254, pressing keys on an ATI USB remote control
stopped working after upgrading from 8.10 to Jaunty. At first, the X
server was crashing, but now that bug 311254 is fixed, the remote still
doesn't work. The keypresses are simply ignored, and nothing appears in
xev output.

The "mouse" on the remote control still works fine.
