Public bug reported: Fresh Ubuntu Intrepid with proposed-updates enabled.
With default settings kdm uses wrong resolution of 1024x768 (it should be 1280x800). Setting it to 1280x800 via 'xrandr' in Xorg works fine. 'xrandr' also reports connector HDMI-1 as connected at 1024x768, but no external screen is attached. Manually setting it to --off works, but after a resume, it is again listed as connected (together with VGA). Currently this Thinkpad is connected to a docking station, if this makes a difference. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- thinkpad x200/intel wrong resolution for internal display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318032 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
