Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gob2
Ubuntu release 8.10 package version 2.0.15-1 The m4 macro GOB2_CHECK in gob2.m4 is meant to be used with Autoconf to check that gob2 is installed and to put the path to it into the @GOB2@ subst variable. It correctly exits with an error if the version restrictions are not met, but if gob2 is not found at all, it simply outputs a warning message. This creates a situation where packages that depend on gob2 to build are configured correctly, but building fails. GOB2_CHECK should exit with AC_MSG_ERROR if gob2 is not found. ** Affects: gob2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- GOB2_CHECK macro doesn't produce an error if gob is not found https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317801 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
