I have the same issue... When I launch it I get the "Unable to activate plugin Media Player Keys" message. Still works...
When launched from shell I get the below. ** (totem:18220): WARNING **: Error connecting to D-Bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-GMMev92Avw: Connection refused ** (totem:18220): WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-wO4CRILhvA: Connection refused I validated in the services dbus is running..
