** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel I have problem on my HP nc6320 with video playback in almost every video player (totem, VLC, mplayer). Normally (after boot), everything works perfectly, but probably (not sure!) after some ACPI event (plugged power connector, undocking, suspend/resume) video no longer starts to play (but sound yes). On 8.04 everything works well on same hardware and problem started immediately after installing 8.10 (clear install). Flash videos (youtube, ...) are allright. Because it is independent on codecs and player, I guess xserver-xorg- video-intel is guilty. But again, Im not sure. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/PM/GMS, 943/940GML and 945GT Express Memory Controller Hub (rev 03) + 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
