This Bug seems to occure too on my EeePC 901 GO with an internal 64 GB Runcore SSD. The kernels in the Ubuntu distributions for EeePC (like eeebuntu or ubuntu eee) come with Kernel-Version 2.6.24-someting and 2.6.27-8 so this bug is relevant.
