Can confirm on a Thinkpad X61 tablet with 2.6.24-21-generic.
Mine hangs without panic-ing, no flashing lights. It's fairly unpredictable - 
I've downloaded gigs of stuff over 5 hours with no problem, but it crashes all 
the time during class even when the net is idle (but still connected). Seems to 
be related to signal strength, now that Dustin points it out. It also seems to 
happen less when not using encryption, but I can't confirm that.
