what version of libwnck do you use (dpkg -l libwnck18), according to the bug you pointed the crash doesn't happen with the Ubuntu package of libwnck. Please don't open bugs on Ubuntu if you use packages different from the Ubuntu ones, we can't be responsive for random patches used by other people
