BRAVO! Firefox is my new nominee for a Darwin award. I have this thing called a kiosk with a web-app in the background of the box. It has no network connectivity - it doesn't need to, there is this strange thing on Linux since like 1970 called loopback (for the Firefox developers, this can be found at http://127.0.0.1).
Of course Firefox wants to be in "online" mode to connect to loopback. Did anyone consider this? Please, just get rid of this insane feature. -- [MASTER] [WORKAROUND] "Offline Mode" feature fails to detect proper online state for networks that are managed outside of network manager. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
