Hello, thanks for looking into this. Sorry, I do not have the Ubuntu live CD, I installed from the alternate install CD. My internet connection is slow and unreliable, so I can't download the live CD right now. I should have mentioned that my laptop has Intel 915 graphics. I don't think gnome-power-manager has error reporting built in.
