This has been fixed in Intrepid and works in Jaunty as well. I also have
removed KDE from Intrepid and Jaunty
Mikael, if this is still happening to you please reopen bug and paste
the version of smartpm the exact error, also can you see if it happens
in KDE or Gnome.
