I just had a look at the gdm translation in rosetta. It's fubarred! In any case, the relevant mgsid _Hibernate was according to Rosetta wrongly translated to _Slaapstand by a person called Rintze Zelle on 2006-03-22.
But this module has fallen victim of the Rosetta/Launcpad/whatever bug where it is using old obsolete translations to replace good valid current translations.
