I am dissappointed that this bug has been marked as "low importance" and
"won't fix". The problem still exists and it's quite serious, even if it
seems to affect only to a limited number of people. Setting
cpufreq_ac_policy to conservative in gnome-power-manager does not
completely solve the problem. It simply makes it very less frequent.
Obviously the hang happens when CPU frequency changes and these
frequency changes are less frequent in "conservative" than in
"ondemand".
