My thinkpad T30 boots both UBUNTU 6.06 and 6.10 fine EXCEPT when it is in my IBM docking station. Then it hangs up. It does NOT hang up on booting Fedora. In UBUNTU I do a <CTL><ALT><F1> and I see Uncompressing Linux...Ok, booting ..... [17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:02:03.0 [17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:02:03.0 [17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge 0000:02:03.0 [17179580.212000] 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 ....and a few more lines similar to this last one THen hangs for a minute or two and finally gives the root (#) prompt Fedora core 5 bootup Has problem with bridge in dock, but ignores it and moves on (from /var/log/message) .........................
