Public bug reported:

My thinkpad T30 boots both UBUNTU 6.06 and 6.10 fine EXCEPT when it is
in my IBM docking station. Then it hangs up. It does NOT hang up on
booting Fedora.

In UBUNTU I do a <CTL><ALT><F1> and I see

Uncompressing Linux...Ok, booting .....
[17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:02:03.0
[17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:02:03.0
[17179572.812000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge 0000:02:03.0
[17179580.212000] 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
....and a few more lines similar to this last one
THen hangs for a minute or two and finally gives the root (#) prompt

Any chance of fixing this issue with UBUNTU? I'd prefer to use it, but can't
since I
use the dock when at work
