Dear Bryce, right now, I don't want to test experimental packages in my system because at present it works and I'm afraid they could break it. I know by experience that updates are a delicate point in linux distributions.
For this reason, I tried Jaunty alpha-2 on the akoya medion mini (msi wind clone). Unfortunately, there was no 3D acceleration at all, even though the logs showed no errors related to the DRI module. Therefore, I will wait for a more mature version of Jaunty. I hope the bug is still open by then. Otherwise, I will file it again. Anyway, thank you very much for your effort! Yours, J.
