The jack plugin is just a single file - /usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.24/xineplug_ao_out_jack.so
it can easily be installed by building from source, and then running: cp /usr/local/lib/xine/plugins/1.24/xineplug_ao_out_jack.so /usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.24/ then the entire /usr/local version of xine can safely be removed. Why couldn't there be a package called something like 'libxine1-jack' in universe which includes that plugin file, and depends on 'libxine1' (and is compiled from the same version)? -- Jack output for xine apps https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
