Public bug reported: Since Intrepid Suspend2Ram is a big fu**up on my Laptop (Asus Z53Sv), and it's getting worse with every update. In 2.6.27-10 it did work occasionally, in 2.6.27-11 fails every time. Here are the symptoms:
* Suspend2Ram via KDE, Hotkey or # sync && echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace && echo -n 'mem' > /sys/power/state works * Screen stays black (no backlight) on resume * LED indicates some disk activity * but system is dead - no response on MagicSysRq keys I tried this also from recovery mode with nvidia and ehci_hcd module unloaded (so it's definitely not a duplicate to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/211572, already had this workaround ... ). The pm_trace causes the following dmesg output: [ 9.775641] Magic number: 0:250:372 [ 9.775644] hash matches /build/buildd/linux-2.6.27/drivers/base/power/main.c:350 I would greatly appreciate any help!
