I am attaching an upstream bug report, that was marked invalid. The reporter stated the same problem as we are experiencing but left a final note stating it was not a Yakuake issue, but a graphics issue. I asked the reporter to provide further information on his final statement. We shall keep an eye on the upstream report to see if he replies. Hopefully we will get this figured out. Also, if you use the '+' button next to the tab on the left, and select to open a new split session, it works perfectly. Weird.
