The linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic in intrepid-proposed does indeed
resolve the issues I've had with setting the resolution of my Logitech
QuickCam Pro 9000 (in MJPEG mode only,YUYV works fine). On the stock
intrepid kernel, trying to set the resolution with luvcview or cheese
would cause the application to freeze completely. Now this works like a
charm :-)

I can mention though, that I do get some errors from cheese:

libv4lconvert: Error decompressing JPEG: fill_nbits error: need 9 more
bits

Doesn't seem like those are critical though - the picture is just fine.
