Public bug reported: Hello,
I got an Asus Mycinema P7131 Hybrid TV-Card. The card is recognized by the kernel, but the remote doesn't work. On the same hardware, using an unnamed proprietary OS, everything works fine, so the hardware is ok. I load the module with: modprobe saa7134 ir_debug=1 Then dmesg output says: [ 3845.372545] saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.14 loaded [ 3845.377032] saa7133[0]: found at 0000:00:13.0, rev: 209, irq: 16, latency: 32, mmio: 0xfdffd000 [ 3845.377065] saa7133[0]: subsystem: 1043:4876, board: ASUSTeK P7131 Hybrid [card=112,autodetected] [ 3845.377091] saa7133[0]: board init: gpio is 40000 [ 3845.385001] input: saa7134 IR (ASUSTeK P7131 Hybri as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:13.0/input/input4 [ 3845.557790] tuner' 1-004b: chip found @ 0x96 (saa7133[0]) [ 3845.635978] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 00: 43 10 76 48 54 20 1c 00 43 43 a9 1c 55 d2 b2 92 [ 3845.636029] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 10: ff ff ff 0f ff 20 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636059] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 20: 01 40 01 02 03 01 01 03 08 ff 00 d5 ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636090] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 30: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636120] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 40: ff 21 00 c2 96 10 03 32 55 50 ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636150] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 50: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636180] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 60: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636211] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 70: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636241] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 80: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636271] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 90: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636302] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom a0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636332] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom b0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636362] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom c0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636392] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom d0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636422] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom e0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.636452] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom f0: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 3845.773272] tda829x 1-004b: setting tuner address to 61 [ 3845.837258] tda829x 1-004b: type set to tda8290+75a [ 3849.718666] saa7133[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] [ 3849.721169] saa7133[0]: registered device vbi0 [ 3849.732609] saa7133[0]: registered device radio0 [ 3849.874169] saa7134 ALSA driver for DMA sound loaded [ 3849.878612] saa7133[0]/alsa: saa7133[0] at 0xfdffd000 irq 16 registered as card -2 [ 3849.880671] DVB: registering new adapter (saa7133[0]) [ 3849.880687] DVB: registering frontend 0 (Philips TDA10046H DVB-T)...
