I took a look at top when SSHed into the box, nothing looks out of the ordinary. In fact, it seems that everything is still running normally. AWN is still running, and comes and goes from the top screen, and nothing is taking up a lot of CPU.
Interestingly, however, when I tried to unfreeze the system by restarting X with '/etc/init.d/gdm restart' over SSH, the SSH session froze. Last thing printed to the screen was "* Stopping GNOME Display Manager..." I cp'd a copy of the Xorg.0.log that was there when it froze to the desktop, so I'll post that after rebooting. -- [iGM45] Desktop becomes unresposive when using intel driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310345 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
