This bug is not yet fixed in ubuntu, even in Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 2. I tested this today. It is however fixed in gnome-screensaver 0.25. Ubuntu 9.04 has gnome-screensaver 0.24.
My test is done with argyllcms.
