Public bug reported:
On Intrepid (32 bit) switch user function does not always work. If the
session is locked and I click on "switch user" button, after some
seconds (and flashing the screen) I got back the screen lock password
dialog. Unlocking the screen I see a dialog window that X cannot be
started. I found in /var/log/Xorg.20.log:

Fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsole: VT_WAITACTIVE failed: Interrupted system call
Version of xserver-xorg 1:7.4~5ubuntu3, I am using nvidia's driver from
ubuntu package (nvidia-glx-177, version: 177.82-0ubuntu0.1).
