No it doesn't work. For me it is not a network issue, but rather a application issue. If I click on the profile in the menu, nothing is appening : if I'm under a dhcp ethernet profile, and trying to change the configuration to a static one, knetworkmanager is simply staying on the same profile... it is not registering that I've clicked on an other profile... The same opération with the gnome network manager is working like a charm !
